Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) plays a crucial role in protecting open spaces on the Peninsula and in the South Bay for the benefit of all. In fiscal year 2022 alone, POST completed and assisted in a total of 5 transactions that resulted in the protection of 167 acres of land. These transactions not only preserve natural habitats but also enhance wildlife connectivity and enable future conservation efforts.
POST's impact extends beyond just acquiring and transferring land. By supporting organizations like the Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority, POST helped protect 80 acres through two transactions that expanded existing open space preserves in or near Coyote Valley.
