    Leadership Initiatives creates future leaders by transforming ideas for social and economic change into community-based businesses, law advocacy campaigns, and public health interventions that address inequities across the globe. In the summer of 2022, the organization's Youth Development Programs facilitated impactful experiences for participating students. For example, the International Leadership & Business Internship program hosted 65 students who collaborated with business owners in Bauchi State, Nigeria, while the National Security & Intelligence Internship shared insights from national security experts in the United States. Additionally, the Advanced Medical & Public Health Internship allowed students to learn from Dr. Aisha Garba in Nigeria and collaborate with renowned Neuroscience expert Dr. James Giordano in the Advanced Medical Neuroscience Internship. Furthermore, student participants in the Advanced Law & Trial Internship assisted lawyer Rebecca Bloch in preparing a motion under the Second Look Amendment Act of 2019.
