Mariana Islands Nature Alliance

The Mariana Islands Nature Alliance, a non-profit environmental organization, is dedicated to preserving the natural environment. Their mission is threefold: outreach, education, and action. They focus on preventing marine debris, addressing climate change, monitoring watersheds, and removing invasive species. In pursuit of their mission, the Alliance received a grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. This funds were utilized to remove marine debris that accumulated due to Typhoon Yutu, specifically from the coastal shallow waters off the southern side of Saipan and Tinian Harbor. This initiative underscores their commitment to maintaining a clean and healthy marine environment, essential for the survival of the island's diverse marine life.

In addition to their hands-on work, the Mariana Islands Nature Alliance also focuses on education and outreach.
