Black Business Community Development Corporation

The Black Business Community Development Corporation, established in 1993, is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a mission to foster the growth of African American businesses and support the development of small, minority, and woman-owned businesses, regardless of race, ethnicity, or gender. This non-profit entity provides educational and networking opportunities to assist these businesses in overcoming challenges and thriving.

In line with its mission, BBCDC offers critical financial and technical assistance services to Black and minority-owned businesses throughout Florida. During the challenging times posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization provided vital support to businesses rebounding, hosting sessions to help them navigate the economic and operational challenges. BBCDC also offers financial literacy and educational workshops, equipping these businesses with the tools necessary for long-term success. In the 2021-2022 fiscal year, BBCDC delivered over 669 training hours and 478 training sessions.

With ongoing charitable donations, BBCDC is positioned to make a greater impact in the Southeast region. The organization, in collaboration with its affiliate BBIF, plans to provide local financial and technical assistance, thereby empowering more businesses to contribute to the economic growth of the region. By supporting the development of minority businesses, BBCDC plays a significant role in promoting economic diversity and fostering a more inclusive business environment.
