Ultimate Sports Association

Ultimate Sports Association, a nonprofit organization, is committed to serving the East Bay and surrounding areas. Its mission is to utilize youth athletic leagues, camps, teams, and clinics as tools for fostering leadership, giving back to the community, promoting healthy living, and preparing young individuals for success in life. The organization believes in leveraging sports as a means to teach valuable life lessons, encourage community involvement, and instill the importance of a balanced lifestyle.

In 2022, Ultimate Sports Association offered various activities that catered to the needs of its community. These activities included basketball clinics and camps, which provided families with essential childcare, kept the youth physically and mentally active, and offered employment opportunities in a safe and healthy work environment. The organization also hosted mental health community forums, providing parents with advice on coping with stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and loss during challenging times. Furthermore, Ultimate Sports Association offered daily Shoot 360 sessions, life-skills training, and dedicated COVID testing space for NBA players. Additionally, the organization allowed other youth organizations to host day camp activities and socially distant team camp activities within its facilities.

By offering these activities, Ultimate Sports Association was able to provide a safe and secure facility that hosted virtual camps and trainings, basketball training classes, Shoot training sessions, and free basketball and Shoot sessions, serving approximately 10,000 part-time staff employment hours in 2021. The organization's mission is to serve its community by utilizing sports as a means to inspire, teach, and empower young individuals, fostering a sense of community involvement and promoting a balanced lifestyle.
