Veterinarians International Inc has made a significant impact in improving the health and well-being of animals and their communities worldwide. They have vaccinated 45,000 cats and dogs globally for rabies and distemper, spayed or neutered over 5,000 animals, and helped build a low-cost veterinary hospital in Valdivia, Chile, providing veterinary care to the impoverished in South America's only temperate rainforest.
Additionally, Veterinarians International Inc has established two mobile veterinary clinics that offer care to 200 elephants in Surin, Thailand. They provided a prosthetic to Namal, a hind limb amputee elephant, and delivered animal health services to over 700 households, saving the lives of over 265,000 sheep and goats, and over 200 donkeys in Marsabit, Kenya.
