Community Information Trust

Community Information Trust, a 501(c)(3) organization, was established with the mission to expand community access to technology and digital literacy programs and services. Its flagship initiative, Do Space, functions as a technology library and innovation space. Here, community members can engage with cutting-edge technology and receive guidance on its usage.

Community Information Trust's primary objective revolves around the operation of Do Space, a technology-driven haven open to the public since November 2015. This space offers the community the opportunity to explore advanced technology while benefiting from instruction and assistance in its application. In 2022, the organization's primary focus involved the continued operation of Do Space, providing various programs and services to the public for free.

Additionally, Community Information Trust collaborated with the Omaha Public Library, the Omaha Public Library Foundation, the City of Omaha, and Heritage Omaha during 2022 to initiate schematic design and initiated fundraising for a new central public library in Omaha. This new project aims to further empower the community by expanding their access to technology and digital resources.

The organization's unwavering commitment to bridging the digital divide and fostering technological literacy enables individuals to enhance their skills and improve their overall quality of life.
