    Human Impact Partners transforms the field of public health to center equity and builds collective power with social justice movements. HIP provides training, technical assistance, and leadership development to support public health organizations and practitioners to take action on health and racial equity. In 2022, HIP provided training and/or technical assistance to 26 state or local health departments and/or public health organizations across 17 states and Washington DC to advance health equity. Our 2022-23 cohort of Health Equity Awakened Leadership Institute brought together 18 leaders from 11 health departments across the country to do leadership development and advance racial and social justice strategies for public health. We have deepened our long-term relationships with NACCHO and ASTHO, the associations representing local and state health departments. HIP has also published numerous new resources for public health, both in the field broadly and for health departments specifically, to improve their systems, policies, and practices to advance health equity goals.
